Review :
Who doesn’t love Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin’s duo? Their complicity isn’t new (go watch 9 to 5 from 1980!) but it is still just as beautiful. The strong women they play bring a refreshing perspective on ageing, celibacy, and, most specifically, on friendship. The couple Sol and Robert introduces many questions about the interiorized homophobia that they can finally free themselves from.
The show talks about privileged families that live on the seaside. Nothing too heavy, everything is tackled with finesse. I recommend! The characters find themselves in many funny situations.
