Review:
Supergirl’s story is a classic for every superhero fan. This series is full of action and its characters are well developed. Kara’s sister, Alex, explores her sexual orientation and experiences many romantic adventures throughout the show. Even with the fantastic and futuristic world, Alex’s questioning and relationship problems are relevant for us today and it is easy to identify with them. The 4th season introduces Nia’s character, a transgender woman who is also playing a transgender character. Just like with Alex, her character is influenced by a world very different from our own, but her challenges are still very relevant and similar to those experienced by transgender people today and are depicted well.
