Review :

One Day at a Time is one of the most important sitcoms of the decade. Whether we like sitcoms or not this tv show allows us to have serious discussions on many crucial subjects of our time. This tv show tackles many political issues like immigration, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, work, academic performance, cultures, etc. Watchers are led to think about those issues at the same time as the characters. The show allows, according to me, phenomenal social progress while using humour and kindness… which is rare in cinema. A show that talks about sexual and gender diversity issues with love, that’s also phenomenal!
