Review:

Hedwig’s story told through a rock musical carries us into a psychedelic world. Many difficult subjects are tackled with humour. There are many queer characters and, even if the main story is about Hedwig and Tommy, there are many questions about gender identity. This movie is rich with metaphors and concepts that leave the spectators wondering about their significance and representations, even years later. This movie has struck the imagination of its spectators.
