Review :

Ryan Murphy comes back with a new production using again a few of his favourite actors. The mini-series Hollywood is a parallel world that mixes fiction and reality. It imagines a new destiny for cinema legends in the sometimes cruel world of Hollywood of the 40s and 50s. The show has 7 episodes that start strong but lose strength along the way with its poorly developed script. Fans of the 7th art can try to find every film reference: big stars (Rock Hudson, Vivien Leigh ou Anna May Wong), big productions at the time (Gone with the wind, Miracle on 34th street, A streetcar named Desire) and social context of the 40s and 50s, others can simply enjoy a new Hollywood full of possibilities.
