Review :

This historical film is very important to understand the progress of our community’s rights. I find that the LGBTQ+ representations in this film are centred on gays and very little on other realities even if we see a few lesbian characters. This lack of visibility is certainly linked to the times, but I also find that the gay realities portraited are very stereotyped in this movie. However, the movie tells the important historical facts about the fight for our rights and the tragic losses we suffered to be where we are at today. It is still very important to know those who made our cause progress for the better. Even if the story happened in our neighbours’ country, their history had an important influence on ours.
